Projects
- AWS Email Forwarder for almost free - Steps to setup an email forwarding service via the command line. (uses Route 53, IAM, S3, SES, Lambda, CloudWatch)
- AWE EC2 webserver setup using Terraform - Using the Free Tier, use Terraform (infrastructure as code) to setup and destroy the AWS Infrastructre and server. Includes a bash script to configure the server.
- Media Playlist Menu for di.fm - CLI playlist menu program. The first script requires a premium member API key to generate .pls files for each channel.
- Security Plus Exam Quiz - Python script I wrote to give random quiz questions that are scored. The script reads questions and answers from 2 large flat files.
- Update AWS Route 53 - Before Elastic IPs were free, I used a script to grab the EC2 instance IP address and automatically update the EC2 IP address in Route 53.
- Public API Python Scripts - Using Python to call public API’s for the Chicago Transit Authority Train/Bus Tracker and Divvy Bikeshare station status. Output is parsed and displayed cleanly.
